Curious: Stage 1+ without FMIC?
Can it be done? I know that without an aftermarket intercooler, IAT's will skyrocket, but can damage be done to the car by running Stage 1+ without an aftermarket intercooler? What about if you blend E85 with 93 while running Stage 1+ without an aftermarket intercooler?

Its not going to work unless ambient temps are very cold, and even then youll probably be pulling timing after a few roll ons. The OE intercooler cant support the platform stock imo, its crap. Upgrade it and run the maps properly.

This was asked few months ago...responces were as I recall - yes the car will protect / correct if your IATs get out of hand and the scalers for the 1+ map occur at ~3500 rpm on up from the 1 Agg map.
Here in the Midwest the ave temps stay cool enough that one 'could' casually enjoy the 1+ map almost 6 months of the year. |

That is a bad idea. There are reasons why maps have stages. You would probably be best off getting a pro tune.
