DIY Alloy Wheel Repair
I live on a terrace street and have to parallel park every day. Therefore I have managed to scuff 3 of my 4 wheels in less than 4 months of owning the car.
A friend of mine sent me this link for DIY: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/realwhda.html It seems a bit time consuming and I don't like the look of having to cover the whole car (I would probably take the wheel off instead). Has anyone tried anything similar? Was it worth it or did you wish you had just paid the £60 a wheel to get Chipsaway (or similar) to do it?

Similar link is in the DIY section. Thanks for reminding though
I have lots of scuffs on my wheels too especially the fronts. I plan to change to winter tires in a week or two and do the repair during the cold months in the garage. There is also a DIY on E90 162 wheels by Paul330d below http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26217 |
