My vehicle moved on from quality check to final assembly just now! Finally, I'm getting a good vibe that it could be on a ship by the end of the month. Goodbye QUALITY CHECK purgatory!

How did you find out that you had been waiting on an infotainment system? My dealership hasn't been able to get any information and I've tried so many different geniuses and none of them every have a clue. There is only one genius that I have ever spoken to that I thought was good, I wish I had her direct line.

I'm still stuck in QC hell and last weekend during a snowstorm I saw some idiot nearly crash into one car only to swerve at me and run me off the road. So now my winter car is totaled. Rental cars are like $1,200 a month so I'm really starting to look at other things that are on the lot that I can get.. I just can't keep playing the waiting game for my M240i with no end is sight.

Moved on from one long 10 week wait in quality check purgatory to having to wait who knows how long in ready to transport. Was hoping that my vehicle would make it on to a ship by the end of this month but I'm running out of faith that it will. This process which was effected by the pandemic is very frustraiting.

Crazy I'm still on week 3 of QC, Hoping I don't have another 7 weeks stuck here before moving to transport. but it seems like it wont be coming anytime soon lol

humm...seems pretty erratic, mine:

Quality check to final assembly 2 days
final assembly to ready for transport in 3 days

it did do a 10 day holdup at the Oxnard VDC for the audio module.

Ordered Sept 15th delivered Nov 26th with carbon interior port install. Sucks to see all of the delays happening now

I ordered mine 1 month after you on 1/3 but am still stuck in QC maybe it just hasn't updated yet and hopefully be here by the end of the month. hopeful lol

Did you hit ready for transport? Genius seemed to imply it hits that status when arriving at the port in Mexico, told me I’d get another update when boat is scheduled.

I was given an estimate of end of Feb to early March for mine and if I stay on this pace and track it looks like I might get it sooner as long as it makes it onto the ship leaving Altamira at the end of January.
