Second, the M3, M4 grills are selling….becoming more accepted clearly. People are getting past that and into the actual performance of the vehicles. I didn't like them at first but I can see how one can simply put a euro plate on that front and be happy. So….yeah. |

It seems theres a malfunction in the head circuitboard, it needs to be ripped out and thrown in the dumpster and replaced by a new more capable, powerful one. |

I compare the like for like engines. BMW has always set the bar the competition only recently can level. e.g. the B58, most probably the most iconic BMW engine now, and it's predecessors always defined the standard to beat. Most of BMW engines did and even more back then. |

So with their new design direction i think BMW should probably change their slogan from "the ultimate driving machine" to "dont worry it looks better in person"…

I like this car. It's interesting and is not afraid to be different. I do hope there are more… conventional… interior choices for the backseat.
Also, I don't think bmw ruled out making a supercar just by making a flagship SUV. Who knows… |

I agree. Some of those designs were cool for their era, but would easily be looked over next to today's offerings. Heck, I wouldn't even want to drive any of those except maybe a select ZCP E46 M3 (…and that's solely because I have a romantic attachment to my old '05 IB ZCP M3; I wish I still had it), and it couldn't be my only car. Tech has just come way too far.

Ofc Bangles design was controversial but at least they (mostly) had hofmeister kink and normal size kidney grilles. Also those Bangle-era cars have aged really nice and many of them still look modern
