N54 Public XDF Repository
Click Here --> N54 Public XDF Repository
Once you click the link above, you will see at the bottom of the GitHub page and button Download ZIP. You must click on that to download the XDF files as a ZIP file. You must then extract them to the appropriate folder. Big Thanks to dmacpro91, jyamona and MHD Tuning for being a part of this project and all the work everyone has done. Martial (MHD) and I personally spent countless hours working on standardizing the XDFs to include converting them from metric to standard values. But without the help and support from the rest of the team, we wouldn't be here today. Just a high level overview of what was done... Tables were added and or corrected, layout was standardized, and we added table AXIS entries so you can scale the table AXIS values. We offer ROM support for I8A0S, IJE0S, INA0S, and soon to come, IKM0S. This thread will serve the community by providing a common place to download accurate, up to date XDF files and allow the community to provide feedback to the team responsible for managing the public XDF repository. If you have any questions, issues, concerns, or just want to provide feedback for changes or recommendations, feel free to comment here or through PM. Love the github platform! Great choice there.
I'm guessing these are the stock tables, correct? Since I'm a bit of a noob at this, could you tell me the correlation between the .xdf and the .bin files?

XDF allows you to define the tables of a BIN within TunerPRO.

Thanks thanks and more thanks! Been waiting for something like this to transfer my current tune to (without the errors from the old XDFs).
side note: I tried to load up my stock bin and BMS bin with the new XDF and tuner pro wouldn't load it load it (something about unrecognized encoding). What am I missing/not doing? Last edited by stanlalee; 05-13-2015 at 04:48 PM.. |

very nice, I need to get to studying here as i just bought my car a month ago.
I assume BB flasher software for loading the Bins only works with BT cable, or can I use a cheap INPA cable? also the previous owner said i should have a good battery charger and winfpk just in case. I did download your XDF file and use it for comparison of what the car has in it now and a few other bins. I would love to learn more about tuning these cars, having a little background in hp tuners, and it was nice as everything was comprised into that one program, no need to log with 1 program, flash with another, and make changes with tunerpro. |

TurnerPro is the only software that can read the BIN file at the moment. I believe someone on N54tech is trying to get ECUflash to work with our XDF/BIN files. But that is still a work in progress at the moment.

Basically XDF is a definition file for the source code of the DME (.bin file) because the DME bin file is just one big long string of hex numbers. LOL, well this is how my simplistic mind understands it, I'm sure I made some guys who really know this stuff cringe a bit!
Anyways, the definition file (xdf) defines more tables that we didnt have access to previously and makes it easier to adjust those tables so that any tuner can use it with a free program like tuner pro to adjust those new tables for better tunes and more control of what the DME is doing to control the performance of the car. Its open source flash tuning and it gives the clever tuners the tools to make more bad*ss tunes or for the shade tree tuner like myself, allows me to get into more trouble and then employ a tuner to help out Last edited by MM Performance; 05-13-2015 at 10:45 PM.. |

the .xdf for IKM0S was added and is on par with other versions, good news for 1M cars! + a few improvements for other versions (mostly codes descriptions). |

I found a small issue with the I8AOS XDF. Fuel Scalar (Bank 1) RPM Break Point is missing "704". I actually starts with "1500" and ends with "0". Bank 2 is fine.
