Zero, I am no Saint at this point. I’m TIRED haha. I assume my allocation is on the horizon due to passing the HEA since it was only missing TWO things.

Pushing two years this May and I have recently decided to wait for a MY24. What’s another 6-8 months?

Come on, really? Just wait until you order a 911 and spend months (or years) just waiting for an allocation. And then Tracking Your Dream, only to find it takes over 90 days to build a car that should really only take 6 days to build. Radio silence from everywhere and everyone about the issue causing the delay. Followed by weeks of delays at the port in Emden before it gets on a boat. And more delays at the port in the US. And then, finally, when it arrives, it gets 10 more days at the local PPF guy. Wait, did I mention the 3 weeks watching the boat idle off of Halifax? No?! Well, that, my friend, is true First World exhaustion!

By my calculations approximately 8 customer orders have completed production and are waiting to be shipped. I'm literally counting the number changes every day.

I was talking with my wife about getting a 911 in about a year or 2, and once I explained how long it takes she said to go ahead and get on a list now. I'm planning ahead for the wait so it won't be too grueling. The wait for this m2 has been pretty much what I expected so I'm not crazy bothered.

The 992.2 is coming and allegedly there is going to be some sort of naturally aspirated version(s) without having to go the GT3 route. We will see.

My wife likes the targa, I wish it came with the gt3 engine. The targa gts is still pretty sweet though.

Definitely a completely different beast than the g87 though, the goal is to keep both and then upgrade the g87 to a cs if the CS is manual.

I’ve read this too that the 992.2 GTS may get the 4.0 N/A engine when it comes out but after doing some thinking, I won’t be surprised if Porsche decided to keep it exclusive to the GT cars.

A few weeks back there were a couple forum members that were able to check back end systems to see when new allocations dropped…

Have you guys seen any movement with allocations trickling in randomly like they were, or are we in “expect allocations only once a month during the normal cycle” territory now?

I’m #1 on an M certified dealer in NC and am really hoping I get the call next week, as my sales rep say general allocations usually come the last week of the month.

Port of exit- Kinda, you can measure the time between the status changes

Port of entry- Again, "kinda" but you are able to know when it arrives as once cars are checked into port dealers are invoices.

There is no stopwatch, just manual calculations. In short, you can estimate days, not hours/minutes.
