Sorry to hear that you got pushed back, but that definitely sounds like a plausible hypotheses. I'm sure they have quite the backlog of Carbon Bros, many of whom likely got the June (or earlier) allocation, like myself.

Only other add ons are the alcantara armrest and cf door sills. I wouldn’t imagine those holding it up.

I got moved up as well with carbon package, from week 41 to week 35. I'm expecting later but I'm not complaining.

Well got news this morning, my dealer got an allocation, moving me into #1 spot for a G87 or an individual G80. Hoping we get another decent wave!

Allocation hit 7/28 for a basically loaded BGM minus wireless charger and 5G, no port installed parts, originally scheduled for week 42 but moved up to week 37.

Anyone have any info on the carbon buckets? Builder now has 2024 and can't option the buckets. Worried I'm going to receive a car without them, pricing is still $9.9k for the carbon pack though

Conflicting info on them, they’ve bounced in and out of being available to add to MY24 builds. I don’t think anyone really knows what’s going on. If that thing flips to 150 at any point and they aren’t added you’re toast

You can build a 2024 M2 on BMW site now and carbon package says it includes bucket seats. I don’t think they can pull out of it now.

I think it's an error. The details say can be added late 2023, unavailable currently. But does let you still add them. Atleast as of 2 hours ago when I did a build, but realized there were no buckets on the interior screen but carbon pack was there.

My order with carbon package was submitted earlier this month and scheduled for end of Aug. to early Oct. production.
