Baby Stretch
Hello World...
I want a little baby stretch nothing too crazy but something noticeable at the same time. I currently am running 18x9.5 et 34? I think wheels all around would 215/40 give me the stretch I'm looking for and would I be safe with this sizes? Anyone running this set up? Thanks in advance. |

You're asking if the stretch is safe, or fitment? Why not move to 225/235. That's still a stretch on a 9.5
This is the 215 ![]() and 225 ![]() I'm running 19x9.5 ET30 front with 245/35/

215/40/18 is actually a decent amount of tire stretch. If you're looking for baby stretch, perhaps a 225/40/18 is more along the lines of what you want.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the acknowledgment. Sorry for not making the question clear looking at the photo I actually want exactly how the 215 sits. Question is can I put 215 all around being that my rim size are all the same? And if I do run 215 on the rear I sometimes get a heavy foot would it be safe at high speeds? Corners? Etc. Hmm 225 is not too bad either thank you for that. |

The tire sizing you should choose should be based on what wheel specs you're running. I always say that a good rule of thumb is that you don't want to run more stretch than you have to.
Don't count on getting much traction from a 215 rear though. With a 335i, you'll spin tires easily. Some people have problems getting 265 and 275s to hook up.

![]() Yup. 215/40/18s aren't going to be much good on a 335i for performance.
