TRADE plus cash- Burl for Aluminum trim
I would like to trade my burl wood interior trim pieces, from my 330i, iDrive (non-iDrive will not fit) for Aluminum. In addition to the standard pieces, I have the original accessory burl automatic shift knob and burl hand brake handle. 1. I will be happy to post pictures if there is any interest. 2. ALSO, I would be willing to offer cash in addition to swapping the parts (pay-pal). I WILL ALSO PAY ALL SHIPPING & INSURANCE, yours and mine. 3. WOULD REALLY LIKE TO DO LOCAL SWAP, Oakland county Michigan, at Erahrd BMW-Farmington or Birmingham-, Bavarian BMW, Somerset mall, etc... 4. If there is any interest I will PM contact info. Bests, Jim |

Anyone want to throw out what kind of money would motivate a trade? Circle BMW is somehwere in the $600ish range, for new. I am not positive on the price since the guy had difficulty with PN numbers. Also, most probably already know this, but to remove the trim all you need is a screwdriver, a microfiber cloth, and some time. |

I am NOT selling anything.
I would like to trade my full trim - including the shift knob and brake handle - for aluminum. And I am willing to offer cash as well for the trade. Again, I WILL PAY for anyone's aluminum trim, as well as send them my full Burl trim. |

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

I am assuming that you would expect to get the aluminum trim before you sent you burl trim. If that is the case would you be prepared to put an extra deposit (aside from the added cash) on the trade which would be refunded once your wood trim arrived? Also it would have to be in the same pristine condition as the aluminum trim.
I have a friend who imports, fixes & sells newer BMW and he will most likely have several in stock. I will check with him and if you want you can contact me at my email address through this site or else just repy & I will get back to you. I know what you mean about the aluminum though. In my 3 previous bimmers I always had wood and was almost going to get wood in the one I have now but changed my mind at the last minute when I decided to have the M kit added. I am very glad I did and it seems cleaner & more high tech. Anyway I will check with him tomorrow & let you know. cheers |

How about a partial trade. Say.. just the dash trim and knob for aluminum, and I live close enough to meet up?
I think having burl and aluminum would be cool, and very custom.

Yes,
Before I spend $750 for JLevi, I would like to see if I could get Aluminum for much less. I also have considered ordering 'Titan silver,' not available in the US, but the default trim in Europe. As RealOem lists a complete set for around 400ish, so probably $400 shipped from Circle BMW. But there will probably be a long weight and may not be able to get it. |

not to bump this, but does anyone have the link for where i can view the accessory catalog online?
i'm seeing a number of prices on this thread and they seem to be more than what i would consider appropriate, then again i can't really compare these bmw prices to that of my former rsx |

I'm glad you didn't order Titan Silver, if it's anything like the base in Canadian 325is (it's call Titanium matte or something similar), it's not that great, at first glance, you can tell it's plastic, doesn't look too good.
