Nurburgring 2008

Finally the timetable`s released for next year and a few of us are getting together from Evotechnik and BMWLand to head back to the petrolheads (and Derv) Mecca.

1st trip next year is Sat 12th - Mon 14th April, staying here http://www.am-tiergarten.de/ right next to the track and home to the Pistenklause.

Most people will be using the eurotunnel Sat morning and returning Mon night but a few also will be going from (Hull Fri night) to Zebrugge (sat morning) then back from Zebrugge (mon night) to Hull (Tues morning)

Track is open to the public Sat lunch `till close, all day Sun and Lunch `till close on Mon so plenty of opportunity to get out on the track either behind the wheel or as a passenger. It really is such an enjoyable experience for anyone who loves cars and contrary to popular beleif its not an all out race the minute you get off the ferry/train (honestly )

Anyway, the more the merrier, so feel free to stick your name down.

I really want to go to the ring at some point, but April 14th is Mrs NFS's birthday so I'll be otherwise engaged.

The hotel details are also in English here:

http://www.am-tiergarten.de/en/home/

Founded by Sabinne Schmitz mum no less.

Have a great time Mike - I'm sure it will be brilliant.

I will be going at some stage next year too. April is a bit early for me, most likely in the Summer.

Mikem, Thanks for the link. BMWLand seems a lot more active regarding this trip. It shows a lot of good information. I see you are taking the Ferry from the north? I am only 2 1/2 hours from Dover, so I will take the tunnel or a ferry from there.

This thread has been very quiet lately...lol. Anyone else leaving from Dover? I am going to book my Ferry soon, and would like to see if anyone else is going that route....later...................

There`s atleast 10 people going from Dover who`ve already booked but no one from here. Times are in the BMWLand thread.
