Bad Turbos or something else

So on a short trip I noticed a crazy whine coming from my car. Also, the car will make no boost. I threw the p30ff code which is for underboost. Here is a video.

Also data logged with the Cobb though I don't know much about it or how to upload it to the forum. It just "screams" and makes no boost. Definitely doesn't sound good.

It sounds like the accelerator pedal is activating a hydraulic lift...wtf? I have no useful feedback...but bump for help.

By the way here is information about our turbos. They are labeled "TD03L4-10tk3-4.9"

Here is a link explaining what that means and if I am reading it correctly it says max boost is 2.7 bar.

So I would take that as the max boost these turbo chargers can run is about 24 psi relative to atmospheric. So is the TD03L4 a hybrid turbo and if so did BMW switch to from the TD03 for any reason? I am still trying to learn how to read the compressor map I found for the TD03 which I don't know if applies to the TD03L4.

I only have one in ear phone plugged in my ear but it sounds exactly like a blown turbo (main bearing failure). I've experienced this multiple times on other platforms/turbos. Loose hose connections sometimes cause similar sounds/no boost but I wouldn't put money on a loose hose (thats how it goes: "damn I hope its a lose connection...check all connections...f^uck its the turbo" been there done that). You have two turbos so I don't know why you would get NO boost unless the ECU is intervening (HIGHLY unlikely both turbos suffered bearing failure).

Yeah it only does it when I would normally go into boost. I also noticed a "supercharger" sound after I flashed with the Cobb which makes me think they were already on there way out you know. My car is at 87,500 miles which really sucks so I will be footing the bill on this one all by myself. Awesome! Makes me kind of sad I got rid of my G37...lol.

Plan to have them installed at the end of the month. I'll report the findings after the old turbos come off. I am sure lots of shaft play!

I just recently replaced both boost solenoids and all vacuums lines right after I got the car as a precaution. I don't think they would make it sound like that. It sounds just like this. So it is what it is.
