software tunes for my 2010 328xi
Looking for some recommendations. I also get a "flat spot" sometimes under acceleration. Usually around 3500rpms or so. Anyone have similar issue?

AA tune works very nice and gets rid of the plateau between 3.5K and 5K for N52 engines, don't know how good it benefits a N51 though.

the AA tune. I have an n51, it makes the car fun to drive-- and no flat spots

yes I do have an N51 lol. I was just wondering if it was a common issue. Does the tune help fix that? Also do I have the 3 stage manifold then? I was just curious if anyone else had a similar issue. I guess im not alone

Just search for the AA tune, there are tons of threads with info. The tune helps smooth out this power dip and IMHO is 100% necessary for anyone looking to have more fun in their cars. I have had installed for over 100k kms (60k mi) and it has never caused me any issues.

don't go with the open flash tablet, some had good experience, in my case the tune didn't change much and when asked to verify if he send me the correct tune file, he never got back to me...

pretty much all of the TQ surge from 3 stage intake has been flattened to match 328i N52 by factory.

I have the bms powerbox and it makes a night and day difference. PPl argue that you dont get power gains but it makes the drive a hell of a lot funner which is worth it for me

hey guys, i have the n52 engine and my 3 stage intake manifold is coming in a couple of days. After I install it, it should drive fine without the tune right? i won't be able to get the AA tune for awhile since there are no dealers around me for 300 miles.

Seriously. When I first installed my first tune, I thought the same thing until I realized it was increased throttle sensitivity. I would NEVER tell anyone to spend their money on something unproven unless I was willing to do so myself. And I'm nowhere near that point with Evolve. ST|G can cheerlead that shit all he wants, I'm not buying it until I see SOMETHING. |
