dp fix question

ok so I potentially have a dumb question lol. Alright so I have my my state inspection coming up soon and I have two options. I can either plug my dp fix into the jb4 or take the jb4 out and plug the dp fix directly into the ecu. I know the AFR and stuff gets messed up if the dp fix is installed and turned "on" for too long, but is there any downside to plugging the dp fix into the jb4 and turning it "off" for the rest of the year after the inspection? or does having it plugged in even at the off position mess with the AFR and stuff? thanks

Even having it "off" is not recommended, yes AFR.

Okay...so when I read the thread title in the list of New Posts, I thought for sure this thread was going to be about something related to adult entertainment. LOL. As outlandish as that seems, I wouldn't put it past people. Stranger and more ridiculous topics have appeared here over the years.

All the best.
