Trying to order sachs shick absorbers, they are who make the original but a friend is the manager at ECP, type in my details it gives 2 options on the shock absorbers standard suspension or m technics suspension.

Now to me m technics means m3 suspension. And standard means se suspension theres no option for m sport but are they saying m technics is m sport suspension its so confusing

Help needed please

For swapping all 4 shocks, should just need the parts and new nuts but they usually come with new ones.Front strut tops can become split but inspect them when off.

Strut tops should be fine but I've seen them split on higher mileage cars.To replace them it's a full strip down again.

Reece, not really mate you can only inspect the strut tops fully when the strut is off and stripped. Its just the rubber can split and gives play.As I say quite unlikely though.
