JB4 Map 5 datalog, Look normal?
First off this community seems to be great and I have already learned a alot from the multiple threads on tuning and modifications.
Car is a 2007 335i w/ BMS DCI/JB4 G5 iso Car will run great in lower gears in map 5 and 1. Once I start getting into higher gears and rpms, ie 5th gear 4500rpm. The JB4 will default to fail-safe map 4. I tried to log this occurrence, but it did not swap maps when I was logging. I checked codes multiple times after it defaulted to map 4 and got no codes. Can anyone tell me if the log has any telltales of a lean conditions. I see that my AFRs do creep up to 16 at times under boost. I have ordered new spark plugs that will go in next week, I'm starting to wonder if my HPFP is showing signs of fatigue although I don't have long starts or other symptoms. Thanks in advance for all and any help! http://datazap.me/u/zacm829/071414-b...=1-3-4-6-18-19 Last edited by Zacm829; 07-14-2014 at 05:41 PM.. |

It looks like you're pulling a lot of timing and your fuel trims look high. Are your running E85?
I've found that posting my logs on n54 tech, I seem to get a lot of support for that since BMS is over there. |

I'll cross post on n54 tech as well, thanks for the tip.
No e85 yet, just straight 93 octane. I thought the timing looked a little odd, thanks for the help! |
