i recently talked to my SA regarding the alarm activation after having installed the OEM alarm myself. he didn't know how long it would take to activate, as it, to my surprise, hasn't been done before at the dealership, but he mentionend something along the lines of 1 - 1 1/2 hours and that the whole system needs to be reprogrammed. with all the discussion going on about the progman v27 and the power loss associated with it, and the fact that they haven't done it before, i'm a little hesitant about the reprogramming as nobody can tell me exactly what they have to do, how long it will take and whether i might possibly end up with v27. any opinions as to what i should do?
