What's happening at Met Life stadium

I've been commuting to Manhattan by bus and it passes by the stadium on the way back.
Looks like BMW has some kind of event going on since last week I guess?
One side of the stadium parking lot is turned into a track with cones, bunch of people standing around (maybe waiting to drive around?). And the other side was full of new 2 series, several M4s as well as new upcoming hybrid concepts. I'm guessing it's some kind of demonstration for certain group of people and not a public event. Maybe I'll get some pictures tomorrow.

It's the 4 series driving event. It was a free event you just had to sign up online

I'm signed up for tomorrow's autocross at 330

I was there yesterday for Park Ave's Event. They limited the amount of people allowed in to maybe about 50.

They have what they call a "Hard Drive" with a professional driver around a coned track. 4 cars being used yesterday when I was there was 2 2014 M3s, 2014 M6 and a 2013 M5. It was pretty sweet. The M6 driver wasn't that great though. He ended up wrecking the M6 on the track (thankfully they said everyone was ok).

They also have other cars to drive by yourself (a bunch of 6 series cars, Alpina B7, X5, and a M6).

After driving the cars, they brought you inside and had a chef cook lasagna, lamb chops and homemade gelato. And let's not forget the free beer.

Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the event.

Poor m6. Looks like it was a hard impact. I can tell people are loving the m4. Saw 2 tonight in edgewater. Absolutely beautiful.
