Gold Rim Help for e92 328i coupe

I want to put gold rims with a polished lip on my car and i am seeing very few options. Avant Garde has the F110s and F120s that can have the gold bullion finish but they are over $1300 per rim. I did see the ISS Fm-10rs which i like the best (http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/a...ine=1372885531) for around $1000 per rim. Then i stumble upon the ACE Alloys SL-M (http://www.acealloywheel.com/product_1_1080.html).

My two questions are, has anyone heard or used of Ace Alloys? And two, if i went with the ACE Alloys, what tire combo would work for 19x8.5 ET20 front and 19x9.5 ET25 rear? Right now i have the m sport suspension but planning on lowering with KWs here soon.

I appreciate any help here....thanks

Here is the data sheet: http://www.acealloywheel.com/downloa...ion_032714.pdf

I could get some different offsets for the rear and front as well. If i went with the 20ET/25ET offset, would it give me me more of that "deep dish" look over the 38ET/38ET, or is the lip a static distance and all the offset would do is move the rim itself in or our ~15mm?

Don't know how good wheels those are, but i would assume that they aren't the crappiest. Whether the offset affects to the size of the lip or is it just width that affects to that, is something you need to ask from ACE Alloys. My guess is that only width will make the lip bigger.

Regardless i recommend going with 19x8.5 et20 front and 19x9.5 et18 or et25 rear with 225/35/18 and 255/30/19. My choice would be et18 rear. Rear will need fender roll. Especially after the coilovers. Here is one to give you idea how the would fit. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...7&postcount=34

Thanks for the input. The difference in the et18 vs the et25 in the rear is that with the et 25 it will stick out 7mm more? Also, i have come to the conclusion that coil overs are going on first before rims to understand more concisely what i can upgrade to (e.g. diameter, width, fender roll).

No it's other way around et18 will stick out 7mm more. At the very least with lowered suspension new wheels look better. How about Linea corse LM reps http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=6504 Rear would need some work.

Thanks for the clarity. I have looked up a lot of info on offsets to finally figure it all out. Those rims are nice but doesn't look like i can get a staggered rear end for 9.5 or 10

What do you mean that Linea Corse setup is 19x8.5 et30 front and 19x10 et22 rear. They might even have less aggressive offset to rear, if you ask them.

tough to pull off gold wheels in my opinion unless suspension and other mods are dialed in also. fitment needs to be on point also. You're somewhat limited if you're going to be buying replicas so consider the linea corse I suppose. AG would be money well spent but its an investment obviously...talk to yuyu over there though and he can get you under $1000 a wheel probably.
