Tips for clear protection film
I just put some front splitters on my pre lci sedan.
They are the ebay ones, and the paint looks good now, but doesn't last and gets chipped up pretty good. So I bought some clear protection film off ebay... Was like 8 bucks for a 12"x6' roll of it. I really wish I would've done this BEFORE I put them on the car, was dumb for not. But what are some tips to install the film? The splitters obviously have a bunch of sharp angles and edges. I want to get the film on so it's not all bubbled up and whatnot. I know I should probably spray water all over them so it doesn't stick right away, but how should I work the film around all the edges without getting bubbles or excess film buildup? ...if I have leftover, I may do my headlights too. Says it has uv protection in the film too. I didn't get the expensive 3m film, but a cheap product that is most likely the exact same thing.
