From what I discovered is do as much of the mod that you can yourself and then take it someplace to weld it back up. I had places quote me upwards of $500+ to cut the exhaust up and weld it back. I bought a cheap angle grinder from Harbor Freight with a bunch of cut off wheels for maybe $25 total and borrowed a friends reciprocating saw and bought a few stainless steels blades for it and went at the exhaust myself. Even after cutting it open and gutting it, the shops still wanted $200+ to weld in the pipes and weld it all back up.
I also got some weird looks from the guys at the shops when I was telling them what I wanted done. |

lol That's the worst; seeing a ton of people get something done on the forums relativity easily/cheaply, then when you go to try to do the same thing locally you end up running into a million different road blocks.
