Satellite Radio Reception

I have a 07 335ci, and absolutely love it.

Question: with the Sirius satellite, it seems the moment i pull into a garage, parking structure, etc (anything with a roof essentially) the satellite radio kicks off... is this a normal occurrence?

Pretty normal for me too. Without a line of sight, you only get terrestrial signal... but under a covered structure, it's pretty limited.

The Sirius satellite loses reception more often than my other car's XM satellite radio. Have the same problem as you do when pulling into a garage or when going under some overpass/obstacle.
