expected horsepower
Going to go in for a pro tune pretty soon. Car will be fbo and meth by that time. Anyone have any horsepower numbers that i should be expecting? Even if you got dyno numbers without a pro tune, just want to see what i should be expecting. Has to be awhp obv.

What type of dyno?
On a dynojet I made 350/390 with Cobb Stage 2+ Aggressive. This was also on winter tires which supposedly impose a 10-20 hp/tq penalty. I recently got protuned on a dynocomp and the numbers were drastically different. My baseline (Cobb Stage 2+ Aggressive) was 422/416 and after the tune(pump gas no meth or E) it made 430/455. Obviously my car did not suddenly become 70 hp stronger so my main point is that your results will vary. Having said that, on a dynojet with an xdrive car you should conservatively see around 420 hp and somewhere around 460 tq with a protune and meth. |

A FBO xdrive on pump gas should put you around the 350-360 awhp mark for a base tune, depending on which type of dyno your car is tested on. I imagine a protune should see you closer to 370, and adding meth or E85 will see getting 400-420 I would imagine. I'm really just guessing at this point. Check out RWD dynos and just subtract 20ish horsepower?
Keep us updated when you get the car tested. Will you be going to the meet this Sunday?

Bren got me 380hp 414tq pretty much fbo but without an aftermarket exhaust and without meth on his mustang dyno two months ago so you should deff get past 4 with meth and still being awd. Brens a great dude who does amazing work if you decide to let him tune it.

I contacted and bought a premade kit from SteveAZ, new oem pump w. Inline 255 pre installed. Took me about 40 minutes to do, it was truly plug and play. |

Like I mentioned my stock one didn't even like e30, and I wanted to run more than e25-30 down the line. With my current setup, general consensus is it should be able to handle e60-ish no worries. |
