Is my transmission begining to slip?

Hello everyone, i recently drove to vegas with my 335i (111k miles on it) and while over there the temps were 100+ and noticed that when driving back going on steep downhills that the rpms would jump twice to about 4500-5k rpm while foot is off the gas pedal or when braking and going down hill. Could the high heat have anything to do with this? Thanks im advance for any advice

Any TCU codes or check transmission lights on the dash? I have issues like this from time to time and my car only has 37k on it. I reset adaptations and this seems to help. Good luck!
