Broken Front Lower Control Arms question ?

Hi Xi folks.

My 2012 xi vibrate terribly on reverse and when turn left or right at 38k miles. Brought it to a shop yesterday and they said the front lower control arm broken due to the lowered of the coilover. But I just put the KW V1 on for 2 months. I did several hard pull through flood area here in Houston,Texas last Thrusday.

My question is which one is the true cause of broken lower control arm, lowered coilover or being pull too hard through flood ?

The coilovers won't cause any damage unless they were installed incorrectly and even then I am not sure how they could damage the lower control arms. What do you mean by pulled through flood?
