Aluminium Glacier / Brushed Aluminium
Hi,
Would anyone have any pictures, or could point me in the direction, to see the difference between the Aluminium Glacier Silver and the Brushed Auminium interior trims. It's a E92 if it makes any difference. Thanks |

That is my e92 in the link above.
I really like the glacier trim. It is harder wearing and more sporty then the brushed alu. I would recommend it with any leather colour combo + would definately spec it again. |

Thanks for the link - I'd actually seen that trim in an in-dealer E92, I just didn't realise that was what it was called. I see your point about it being less prone to scratches, I've brushed alu in my S4 and it can get knocked. I'll go with the standard

This trim is standard on my car. I believe it is now being used for 08 model M sport trim now as standard.

Glacier trim does look good but I went for brushed alu on my E92 (picked up on Tuesday!) as I think it goes better with the alcantara/blue shadow seats that I have.

I only prefer it as its less easier to scratch - As my TT has a habit of dropping off the screen onto the dash!

Admit that the brushed Alu is less hardy than the glacier but I prefer its looks. Each to their own though, and though glacier is standard now on M Sports, brushed Alu is a no cost option I think.
