Sweet water pump is done for

Was driving normal car was only running for 5 min so oil wasn't warm .so I wasn't beating on it and first the dreaded yellow coolant sign appeared quickly followed by the even worse red coolant sign. since I was close to home and car want hot yet I was able to limp back to my house luckily lol . I threw the code 2e82 which is electric coolant pump shutdown . When I opened my hood I did see some coolant leaking does anyone know how I could test my hoses or is it an ovi bad pump

If the auxiliary fan is on blast or if theres to coolant being pumped back into the reservoir when you open it, then you might need to replace your water pump and thermostat. Sucks happened to me at 48,000 miles on the NJ tpk.

I'm interested as well. I've had the replacement tstat and waterpump sitting in my garage for months now. Wanted to install them as preventative maintenance -- can you PM me with pricing info, please?

I have 08 335 waterpump went bad at 55k luckily happened before my warranty expired. If you change yourself disconnect the battery or you might blow that big fuse.

Pump. I drove just like you for like an hour w/ the yellow light appearing on and off. The next day the red light started appearing , thats when i parked it and ordered the pump.
