Log Read Request - OFT
I noticed a few others posting up logs for people to comment on so I thought I would do the same.
I also enjoy checking other peoples logs so thought someone would like to see mine. Changed the logging parameters just before this log so there's no temps recorded for this run, just trying a few other parameters instead. LP Fuel seems to be a dud parameter! here's the log; http://www.datazap.me/u/rich/fourth No mods except for the flash. Fuel is Shell Vpower - 93octane~ The last pull is probably the best, I held the pull from third into fourth without lifting too much or shifting too early. Look forward to any input! EDIT: Here's a cut down version of the log; http://www.datazap.me/u/rich/fourthc...a=1-3-5-6-8-10 Last edited by CarAbuser; 08-13-2014 at 06:05 PM.. |

Hey bud,
Are those mostly jsut cruising around town? Also, i see timing but is there a timing corrections monitor for OFT? Best log would be to find an open road where you can WOT it safely. Turn off DTC, cruise aroun 2500 rpms, start logging, and gun it WOT w/o letting off through 4th gear then stop log.

There are a few periods of low rpm driving inbetween pulls, mainly just me turning around for another run. The WOT pulls were done on a private lane to my parents house so traffic is no problem and no issues with the law. It's at a slight incline but works perfectly for straight line pulls. EDIT: I've produced a screenshot of the chart with the other selected parameters I mentioned, this is hopefully what you see when you zoom in on a pull. |

With so much data it's hard to sift through. Although I did find some WOT logs.
Some aspects looked good but then at other times your ignition timing was severely low. I saw an area of your datalog where you had -2.5 ignition @5300 and it ramped up to 1 degree by 5800 RPM It's best to to approach the area you want to datalog and right before you got WOT hit record then when your done recording pull over safely and stop the datalog. 3rd Gear, WOT, 2500 RPM to redline. (traction control off). If possible a gear change into 4th gear. I'd prefer to see one clean run in 3rd gear. Preferred Sensors: RPM BOOST TPS Gear Intake Air Temp AFR Fuel trim |

I didn't log temps as I wanted to try a few other params. I should have kept IAT in there atleast. Here's a cropped version of the log showing one pull: http://www.datazap.me/u/rich/fourthc...a=1-3-5-6-8-10 Hopefully a bit easier to sift through. I'm quite new to log reading. Could you explain a bit more about the ignition and why you are concerned? |

Rom is IMCOS.
I had traction control on. Is that what's limiting the throttle? It's a DCT box so i'm trying to avoid the kickdown button with the pedal. |
