Transmission Concern?
This is going to sound very broad.. I have an automatic 2009 E92xi..
If I am in drive and have been driving, come to complete stop, put it in reverse, start rolling back, after only a few seconds I hear a crack noise like something is about to fall off.. Only happening once. Likewise, if I was then to come to complete stop, put it in drive, start rolling forward, after a few seconds I hear the crack noise again, only happening once until I want to reverse again. It almost sounds like theres a harsh transfer in the crankshaft? Any suggestions, input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I'm having the same problem. I only noticed it after I lowered the car. I took it to bimmersport and they couldn't find anything wrong.
