Golf tee mod

I pulled the cable in my trunk and turned the car on. I revved it a little bit and some black stuff shot out of one exhaust. Is this normal?

I've had that unplugged for over 2 years now and never had an issue, so I don't think that anything bad is happening. Which exhaust did it shoot out of? Pretty sure the driver-side is the one that is inactive at idle when that is plugged in, so maybe when you unplugged it and activated the driver-side exhaust, you shot some crap out that had settled in the muffler since the last time you drove it.

Keep an eye on it, to see if it keeps happening, but I think you're fine.
