Oil Leak Need Help !

Hello everyone, while I was changing my oil yesterday I realized that I had an oil leak. It may seem that the leak is coming from the drain plug but I am pretty sure I have it tightened to the correct torque settings (18ftlb). I have not had the add oil light come up once since the last oil change (5k miles). I have had the oil filter housing gasket and valve cover gasket changed less than 6 months ago. I think it is the oil pan gasket now but I would like to hear people chime in on their opinions. I have taken many pictures but here are some of the pictures I feel show the most of it. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

It could be couple of things.

First go up top and check oil filter housing, and if you have an oil cooler, look under and all around the oil tstat gasket housing and by the oil line orings.

Then, check that your rear turbo intake tube is fully connected to the rear turbo - it can slip out causing oil blowby to drip downward in that spot.

If niether of those, you'll want to check valve cover. Next would be turbo oil lines, oil pan gasket, or rear seal.

Happy hunting!

I've gotten both the ofhg and valve cover gasket changed within the last 6 months. Ive ruled those out but I guess they could still get busted again eh?

Not likely, but possible.

Try to Follow the oil towards the front of the engine and up.

Clean it all up and inspect again in a week.

I think the valve cover gasket, OFHG, oil pan and turbo lines are the primary leak locations.
Does any else know of any other common oil leak points?
