P2a94 and limp mode. 2008 335I
So.....I let my girlfriend borrow my car for a week so I didn't have to drive 40+ miles to work and back before driving to Vegas tomorrow which I'm thinking was a mistake or it could just be a freak issue. got in my car this evening to head to the gym and the car started up like an old 1982 Chrysler LeBaron. It cranked over about 3 times as much as it should(normally stats right up) and then once it finally started it threw some codes at me. P2a94 was the first one it threw and then the code for limp mode. It also told me on the display there is a transmission malfunction as well. when I put it in reverse the tranny slams hard and the car is running very hot and condensating real bad from the exhaust. If I try to clear the codes while the car is running it stalls out. I'm going to limp it into the dealership first thing tomorrow morning but any ideas or help is much appreciated.
