Persistent cylinder 5 misfire... Running Delphi w/ Bosch Coils?
http://www.datazap.me/u/spxxx/spx-9-...=1-18-27-28-29
Mods: Custom backend flash JB4 G5 ISO FMIC DCI E35 fueling stock exhaust NGK plugs gapped @ .022 New VCG 3k miles ago New Turbos 1k miles ago I have a persistent misfire on Cyl 5 running a custom backend flash... The misfires are really bad in map 6 (17psi).... but Map 2 & 5 seem to run fine even when map 5 auto-tunes up to 17 psi. I put in 3 new coils, 6 plugs and fuel pressures look fine, #5 plug didn't seem to have any gas on it to indicate an injector leak. In my mind it is either Injector or PCV issue, misfire started after new VCG Anyone running a combination of Bosch & Delphi coils? I'm running 3 Bosch (bank 2) and 3 Delphi (bank 1) I was told by my indy that it's suggested to run all of the same type coil and dealer said it's fine to mix them, I noticed when doing 6 cylinder logging the timing was better on bank 1 with the Delphi coils. Thanks, |
