So you're posting links to your own "review" and saying it is someone else? Pretty fucking lame dude.

Unfortunately, self-promotion is either looked down upon or hazed in public forums such as this. And, while it is "my" video, there is a team behind it. A team that spent 4 hours shooting and over 6 hours editing just to make a 10 minute video. People, such as yourself, have no regard for the work that people do to create something. They would rather put them down than give an honest opinion on the material. So, yes, I've made it out to be something that isn't mine, when in fact it is, but can you blame me given the nature of your own actions?

We are trying to create a business out of this. The fact that we started with my car should be irrelevant and I don't want to take credit for it because so many other people that are not on this forum are involved. The issue I've run into is that most people, maybe not you, but most, have no interest in supporting someone because they ask on a forum, yet they will support someone they don't know on YouTube. It's a fucked up world we live in.

I dont see what all the fuzz is about. Give a fellow member what he is asking for which is ultimately an honest opinion regarding his work, how he approaches the way he publicizes it is really here nor there.
Anyhow i think you did a good job, went into detail about the engine and had a few good highlights. It would have been nicer to get a few more details about the options maybe and pertaining prices. Also when reviewing anything it is sometimes useful to make comparisons to other similar products, it gives you a better chance for the viewer to have something they may or may not have knowledge about to contrast your reviewing product with...if that makes sense. Anyhow good job. |

I watched this the other day when you posted it.
VERY wordy, and a lot of boring info. You should have included more about driving, performance numbers, etc. No one really cares how to use the steering wheel buttons. That said, it wasn't terrible - there were a lot of really good shots. Especially as it was your first try. If you're interested in making more videos, I think it would be really cool to review a modified 335i. No one has really done that before. Also, it really was kind of lame to pass it off as someone else's work. It makes it seem like you weren't confident enough in it to claim it as your own. It would have been better to just say, 'hey guys this is my first video. what should i change?' Not a bad job, and just keep working at it!

I guess I didn't really see it as lying, more like representing our brand, but I get what you mean. The forums are based on trust and I get that.

I thought it was kinda funny that you said you wouldn't go for the wood trim if it was your car... but it is your car.. So why say that..
Other than that it was too wordy and I can't believe you said the E91 is hideous plenty of people would get upset. If you are trying to make a serious review you shouldn't make comments like that, however if you want to make an entertaining review a la Top Gear you can. |

people don't know its his; he gets opinions not influenced by his presence.. why you would get ticked off over a fib that small. its a public survey on a car forum, I couldn't care less that he lied

I'm just trying to get honest opinions, rather than have people think of it as my car. It's less biased one way or the other. Thanks for the insight.
