E92 msport seat retrofit, no electronics working?
Hi all
Plugged my msport seats in and the airbag light stayed off however I had no power to the seats, does anyone know if I need these coding or if there is a unit that I need to buy? Hope you can help Cheers |

Just done one of these retrofit today.
Fitted M sports seats in SE car. Click on FB logo under my post and check the photos. Your car has some wirings missing and once you add that, car needs to be coded appropriately. Which seats have you had before? Semi-electric or Manual seats?

I had leather semi electric seats. Movement on the rails were manual however the base adjustment were electronic and the backs tilted electronically aswell. Where would I find the wirings for this. And how much do they cost and now much is coding roughly? Cheers |

Wiring has to be custom made. In the past, I coded a car to have these and owner never put the wirings correctly, therefore I would hesitate to do the half job (coding). Unless you are 100% that you have added the wires correctly.

Hi all
I followed the thread of a DIY on how you wire these seats in. Used the red wire as a 12v and brown as the earth. All works for about 30seconds and then no power for around 25minutes? Does anyone know why this is and how I fix? Cheers |
