Unlock DVD function

I just got my new 335 touring in Hong Kong, with iDrive + GPS option. But the dealer locked the DVD function (i.e. can only use for GPS, not movies). Anyone knows how I can unlock the DVD function?

Their is no such thing as an unlock function for the DVD drive. It was never designed to play a movie DVDs as it does not have the software to do so. It can only read the Nav DVD and play MP3 off a burned DVD.

, dont think I'll go through that. Should probably stick to my ipod for movies.
