Installing Subwoofer/Amp Into My E90

Whats up E90POST ... I'm near here my first post .. I recently purchased a E90 .. 2007 328i Sedan . I want to install a little system .. I already purchased my amp which is 2000 Watts , 0 Gauge wiring kit , 2 12 inch Alpine Type R SWR-12D4 , And a kinitek battery for the trunk so I dont have to use the main battery ,, Any way I need to know what do I need to run the Amp RCA to the stock Radio ?

Thanks in advance E90POST

first you need to figure out which stock system you have, for a 2007 it will either be the hifi or the logic 7. logic 7 if you have a center speaker in the dash and speakers in your rear doors. hifi if you don't. hifi is the easiest to upgrade but your amp does need to be able to take differential balanced inputs from the head unit. the fact that you are saying your amp is 2000 watts leads me to believe it doesn't

Ok good, but before you go too far with your plan, take advantage of the great information on this site to do it right so you won't have to do it again. Specifically read post #66 on this thread below.

if you are dead set on installing a secondary battery, please consider using a battery isolator.

I don't really think a second battery is necessary. I'm using alot more power than I would recommend with just one battery.
