I just found out that my 335 vert is in production and is expected to be completed on 1/8/08.

The wait begins...

A dumb question... on the bmw status page that says "scheduled for production", there is a photo of a red 3 series on an assembly line. My car is Crimson Red and I was wondering if this is just a coincidence or if the site automatically puts up a car in the owners color. I'm sure it's not a photo of my car.

That sounds like a new feature and first time that I've seen it mentioned.

I'd think it's probably programmed to match your car color.
