AP Racing BBK
Anyone here have any experiences using an AP Racing BBK on their 335i? I'm tracking more and am considering going this direction.

I'm planning on getting a set. Can't vouch for them on a 335i yet, but I have a track junkie friend that have a set on his M3 and has nothing but good things to say about them. Considering AP make quality kits, the one for the 335i shouldn't be any different.

I would agree with the comment above. I have heard nothing but positive things about AP for the 335i. I have never seen a 335i AP kit in person but I would only assume they are equally as impressive. I liked them as much as my stoptechs on both of my supercharged 350z's.

I don't know if new AP is expansive than stoptech or cheaper...

Can't say too much about AP, but I don't think I've ever heard anything negative about AP brakes. I have Stoptech Trophy on my MINI so it's been great at the track.

Considering they are used on Formula 1, NASCAR, LeMans, FIA GT, ALMS, LMES, Grand Am, Super GT, BTCC, DTM cars and some high end manufactures like Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, and Lotus use them (OEM), you will be more than satisfied.
BBK to avoid (unless you want appearance over performance ) Rotora and KSport Track proven quality hardware... StopTech, Alcon (had issues early on but corrected them by updating their hardware), Brembo, AP Racing, Wilwood and Sparta Evolution. Hope this helps.

E90Mack, those are good brakes and I considered them too. I only ended up with Brembos because I found them for a good price used and the pads ~I like~ were compatible. I think the main thing to consider is pad availability of the kit you choose. Edit: Secondary consideration would be need for steel vs aluminum brake pistons and the need for brake piston boots (vs. the desire to ~not~ have them).
