Do You Have A Trunk Button?
Do you have a button left of the footwell area that lets you open the trunk?
My E38 has this button nearby the OBD socket. My E92 doesn't.   E.g. when I stop at a garbage can and wanna empty the trunk it doesn't open by just pressing the deck lid handle (unlock inhibit feature?). I'd have to take the key with me which can be annoying when the key is in the slot (must go back into the car and stop the motor in order to release the key)  |

My '07 E92 has the button. Much easier to use than the trunk button since it's always locked once the car autolocks at 15mph. I almost never unlock all doors when I get out so the trunk is always locked.

Although I wish I had the newer version of Comfort Access when all you have to do is slide your foot under the trunk and it opens. It would make it a lot easier when carrying large objects. I wouldn't have to bend over and put them down so I could grab the trunk handle, I'd just be able to slide my foot under the trunk, trunk pops open, and then lower the things in my hands into the trunk. Ah, E92 problems. (I believe that option for Comfort Access came out of the F30s)

My friend's 2008 e92 and my 2007 e90 have the trunk button.

2008 E90 - Yes, it does. It also has the glove box/valet truck lock out switch too.
