Floor mats with velcro pads

Hi there

I ordered some mats off ebay for my new e90, and the drivers side one has 2 velcro strips on the underneath.

However my floor only has 1 velcro pad to attach to.

Is this normal?

thanks

Not sure about the E90 but my E92 has 2 pads so sounds like your missing one to me.

Just buy them from BMW? My mats came with new screw in pads.

Yes, they are just a round disc with a moulded screw that you wind into the carpet.

Jeeze, maybe you should just visit a BMW dealer and let them empty your wallet.....

Just asking bro..

I'm proper confused. In my driver's side theres one of these velcro discs and nothing else.. No pre slit hole for an extra disc.

Don't wanna go making a hole in my floor without some instructions beforehand know what I mean?

It's just carpet, you poke the end of the plastic screw in the position you want it and then wind it in using a large screwdriver or a coin in the slot in the middle of the Velcro bit. It's not a big job and you have a wise target positions get the Velcro to make contact with the right area on the back of the mat. If the position doesn't work you can always unscrew it and give it another try as the old hole(s) will be covered up by the mat anyway.
