Unhappy What is going on with this car? Intermittent codes, loss of power/limp mode

This car has a SES light, and randomly gets the "engine malfunction" warning, with a corresponding limp mode.

When I check the codes, I get different "batches" of codes, randomly. I'll check them again, while in motion, and they will suddenly disappear (although the symptoms remain).

This will happen all the time.

Sometimes the car will run perfectly, but only momentarily and still display the SES light.

Here are the codes, in their respective batches that they came in:

Set #1
-----------
P0302 - Cylinder #2 misfire
B1924 -
C1704 -
P0200 - Injector circuit malfunction

Set #2
----------------
P0299 - Turbo underboost
P2457 - EGR (cooling system performance)
P0402 - EGR (excessive flow)
P0425 - Catalyst temp sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 1
P0101 - Mass or Volume Airflow Circuit Range/Performance
P042a -

Set #3
-----------------------
P0424 - Heated catalyst temperature below threshold (bank 1)
C1702 -
B1904 -
P0201 - Injector, cylinder #1 activation
P0100 - Mass or Volume Airflow Circuit Malfunction

Set #4
-------------------------
P0324 - Knock control system error
C1702 -
B1904 -
P0200 - Injector circuit malfunction

Some history on the car: At 50k miles in late 2012, it had the intake manifold replaced, and four or more injectors replaced, along with some computer reprogramming/updates. The car now has another 60k miles on it.

Any ideas?

I have been thinking it over and am leaning toward actuators (for the loss of power/P0299 code) and DDE (for everything else).

Thanks guys.

Yeah, kind of what I'm thinking too. I'm going to see if I can get a local guy to look at it today.

I recommend you pay a good BMW dealer to diagnose this one, will need special tools.

I thought so too. I did a little searching and found a poster with similar codes as myself:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=923779

So it looks like CBU can cause these codes.

I'm not sure if the MAF is actually gone, but I asked them if they tested it and they said they did. I ordered one from www.maf-shop.com for $200 delivered so we'll see how it turns out.

I do plan to do that as well. I did see a particulate filter code, so I suspect it's clogged or something to that effect.
