Bluetooth option seems to have disappeared

As above. It suddenly drooped connection, now when I press menu it's as if the option has gone. There should be a little phone icon above TEL

No , nothing, it just dropped the connection and I went to pair it again and can't get past this point now ??

Unplug the BT module in boot then try again.

99% sure it's your MULF module in the boot. Is your music cutting out? Unfortunately, there is no one here in the UK repairing these so your only option is new for lots of money or second hand for around £120.

The radio does keep cutting out but only for a second. Does that point to the MULF. Would you know if that's a extended warranty item ?

UPDATE - when I get in the car and wait a couple of minutes before I put the key in, the Bluetooth returns but only for a few minutes
Any ideas?

There is a member on here called makkan00. I was told about him at a car show. He is very good with bmw electrics. Maybe ask him.

I've seen several threads on this in various places - do some googling on the MOST fiber optic network in your car. Seem this is very much connected to the audio cutting out...
