Additive is gone and so is the car so I figured I'd give my two cents about using it.
I started using Powerservice (grey) with less than 100 miles on the odometer. I used this product religiously for about 18 months and then switched to Amalgamated Inc TDR-S and TDR-S /FL. I used these other formulas religiously and performed comparisons* between the two products . *Ran 2 tanks of fuel with no additive between products and used the same Shell or Texaco for almost all of my refills. Dosing rate was as directed per manufacturer. Results : No degradation in idle/start up from mile 10 to 66k miles. MPG's remained constant for the entire life of the vehicle per Fuelly however I did notice a 1-2 mpg gain on Amalgamated Inc vs Power service. |
