when following shiv's instruction the last part of step 4: Hooking up 12v power it states:

Lastly, with the fuse tap removed, slide the red spade connector from the PROcede's power onto the female spade. Put a bit of electrical tape around this connection to insulate it.

can someone give more detaisl on what exactly he means by that.

Barat I believe he is talking about the power supply wire that comes from the procede, that was run to the fuse tap originally. This would just be plugging in that power wire from procede to the new tap as described in install prior to that point. My 2 cents.

Yes this is correct. Shiv/Dustin is referring to the power wire you originally wired during the V1 install by tapping the 50amp fuse. Remove the 50amp fuse pull the wire tap out and connect it to the new power source via the female spade. And don't forget to put the 50amp fuse back in.
