what percentage tint should i do?

Wondering how dark i should tint my e93 alpine white 335i. I have black interior black wheels and grill but i dont know about going to dark? I want to see clearly at night. What percentage would yous recomend? And should i do windshield?

100% then you wont be able to see at all... like a volvo driver

I've got windows tinted but not rear glass.
Due to the photo chromatic rear and side vision mirrors it's difficult to use the side mirrors at night (eg parallel parking) with windows up but the rear is fine as the rear glass is not tinted.

I just got my car re-tinted today

Originally it has 35% but it was either shit quality or had faded and it let too much sun in during the day.

Plus Black interior and black paint doesn't help in keeping the car cool. So it wasn't done purely for aesthetics.

Ive got 15% on them now

The silver trim around the windows breaks up the paint and the tint so It doesnt look too dark.

I will see how I go at night with my light sensitive mirrors

That dosnt look too dark. I thought 15% would be darker. Let me know how vison is in the dark.

15% if you're going darker than 35%... anything more and its not worth the bother

It's about as dark as you safely want to go, as any darker and you will have issues at night time.

I wanna retint mine too. i think mines 30% (had tint from previous owner) i wanna go 10% on the front 2 windows then 5% on the rear 3 windows

those annoying little dots on your glass - unless its done correctly you tint will look crap - do a search

You can cut the tint before the dot's can't even notice it tbh

I have 20% on my AW sedan. It is perfect I think, 35% is way too light. At night with auto dim it is a bit average but that would be the only negative.

It is pretty good at night not too dark, reversing down an unlit driveway at night is probably the only slight issue. Perfect during the day, wouldn't change it at all.

Yeah in hindsight I should have have gone 15% on the back window more 20 or maybe 25%. Ive just had to be very careful when I reverse in my driveway at night. But other than that 15% is good.
