yes it is correct. you are not running a red light or drunk driving or no complete stop on stop sign or you are making a turn while someone walking on the the pedestrain line. ANything that not relate to moving violation, you get fixing ticket.

You can get fixing ticket if you have loud exhaust . you can have fixing ticket for lowering your car. you can have fixing ticket for having bright HID light. This fixing ticket will depend on each of the officier. If he having PMS or not on that day.

It all depends...........how much you want to pay?

My fixing ticket for front window tint was $10.........

I took over a year to fix it.....

And it jumped to something like $500...........

But I went to ask the judge for forgiveness for my stupidity.....

We both happily settled at $250.....

Moral of the story:
Take care of it ASAP. Don't let it slip you by, or the fine will increase exponentially. Plus, there will be a Warrant for your arrest.

no plate. if ur pulled over, and have dealer plates, but not plates DO NOT give him registration, coz he'll know u have plates... also, more than 3 months wont fly, so he will give u a ticket

My brother forgot to pay for his fixing ticket for over 2 years. Court told him he have to pay back about 900 and plus 1 week community service.

dude you got lucky there pal..

anyways u always want to pay it right before the due day.

Not entirely true. It's a fix-it ticket, but the Court Admin Fees vary by county. I got my ticket in Marin and the admin fee was $10 earlier this yr or earlier last year depending on when someone reads this post.

If you get pulled over by CHP. Cost to you is $0. If you get pulled over by local police, then its $10 or so bucks.

Having no front license plate can draw unnecessary attention from cops...(although i don't have a front license plate myself)...

On New years day, i was comming back from the bars in downtown San Jose...there was a DUI checkpoint nearby.. I passed the DUI check point (only had 3shots in my 4hours at the bars)...then i start driving down near SJSU and I am at a red light stopped. There is a cop infront, looks at my car, makes a U-Turn and pulls me over..

Reason he told me he pulled me over was because of "No license plates". Then he told me to get out of the vehicle for a DUI check..of course, i passed it again.. let me off again...

All the fun happened at 3-4am.

point is, sometimes cops can pull you over for these "minor" things to try see if your drunk, high, naked..whatever...
