IS exhaust?
I have a e92 n54 335xi with catless downpipes and muffler delete. I don't like the sound of the muffler delete and catless downpipes (excessive rasp, drone, cheap sound), so I'm looking for a new setup.
Is it worth it to buy new 335is mufflers or just put the stock mufflers back on? Is there a noise difference from the IS mufflers+catless downpipes compared to the stock mufflers+catless downpipes? Thanks for all your help

I would just do the PE mod to your stock muffler. IS exhaust is essentially the same thing and not worth the money IMO. The IS exhaust is really similar to the stock 335i exhaust except it has less packing inside of it. If you're set on spend several hundreds of dollars on the IS exhaust, you might as well pay a few hundred more for the BMW PE which is better. A friend of mine had an IS with downpipes and it was pretty raspy. So if that's what you're trying to avoid then you may be wasting your time.
