Stealth meth reservoir

Only question is whether Ag+ ions on the inside of the reservoir (antibacterial manoevre) go into solution in methanol-water, which can't be good for cats!

I would not recommend using this setup. It is a fire waiting to happen. Not vented and not rated for pressure. Not rated for meth. Your insurance will not cover your car if it catches on fire due to accelerant in your trunk. Please remove this before it turns into a don't do this story.

what the hell is this lmaooo. highly recommend you redo your meth system.

seriously? a bag is the best thing you thought of using to hold methanol? and close it off with a cheap clamp. God forbid you put a tank in your trunk and you wont have room to fit all that stuff you'll be putting in there. that is if your car doesnt catch on fire.

While I applaud the ingenuity, this is a glorious example of not treating methanol with the respect it demands. Not to make light of the severity of this situation, but the idea of some dude going WOT through corners/etc with this thing sliding/sloshing around in the back is cracking me up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=3Huc47Dqsg8

The clamp is killing me.

Biggest mistake you could make and fire waiting to happen.

Agreed, also I would prefer the pump lower than tank.

I suggest the following for any meth system

1. Stainless steel lines
2. Lines away from hot side of motor (no WW)
3. Use -AN lines

ewwwww... what all those guys said ^

also just so you know.. Meth burns invisible...

that tubing also isnt PTFE or nylon... it will eat it up FAST. like wow.. first hot day with that meth in that camelback bladder and it will probably be thin enough to rupture all over the pump and wiring and... ohh noo just nooooo

Question

Talk about getting flamed! Are we agreed 50:50 is NOT flammable ANY situation, or am I mistaken? Also not carcinogenic. With respect to the single other critique, pump head is below the "tank".
Fact-based constructive rebuttals all appreciated. Here to learn.
Thanks.

Methanol is relatively acidic....Be careful with what you store it in.

And yes, 50/50 can absolutely flash.
