225 or 235 for 8" wide rim?

What do you think, 225 or 235 for a 8" wide rim? Its for the front if it matters. I dont want a lack of steering response because I chose to wide tires, but at the same time more front end grip is always nice to have.

My 19x8" front OEM BMW Performance rims came mounted on a 225 for the fronts.

I thought that 235 were more for 8.5" widths
