SuperSprint exhuast

so i was wondering if anybody is running the supersprint straightpipes on their e90 328i and how do they like them. im thinking about just getting the section 1 and section 2 straight pipes with a no muffler. but the muffler is 900 BUCKS!! (YIKES)

Or you could do AFE pipes and a muffler of your choice. Or a single exhaust and a muffler of your choice.

Ss is way too over priced. I agree you could just buy a 328i lci for the same price, maybe even an e46 m3

There isn't much to be gained in the mids, I would save the money. Their muffler is quite a nice unit though.

Unless I'm misunderstanding something? Gains are mostly in mid-upper rev range but still.

Yeah, I'll wait until I see a number of independent tests showing the same. Right now to me this is in the same category as their "drone free" muffler that has people jamming corks in the exhaust hangers in desperation to dial out some of the obscene levels of drone.

Oh wow I didn't know that about their exhaust, probably a good idea to adopt your level of skepticism. Thanks for informing me.
